Notes South African War (Anglo Boer War) New Zealand Veterans badge Badge that belonged to Captain Hagor Wallace Thomas Wilcox, Second Officer, HS Dunera, Anglo Boer War. Medal awarded to Captain Hagor Wallace Thomas Wilcox, who was an officer aboard HM Hospital Ship Dunera during the Anglo Boer War. He later married Ellen Dean (Nellie) Redstone of Gisborne who had been nursing in South Africa with the Army Nursing Service Reserve, and came to New Zealand with her when she returned in July 1902.
