Summary

[edit]
Description
English:
Railway station. Railway coach monument. The first railway line in Bátaszék was opened in 1873, when the Danube-Drava railway opened the Dombóvár-Bátasszék line. - The station functioned as a transfer station, goods had to be transhipped from rail to land transport and from them onto the railway. In the other three directions, the railway was built in the following order: first, toward north, Szekszárd was connected to Bátaszék in 1897, then in 1909 the Danube Bridge in Baja was built, which allowed goods to flow east-west between Transdanubia and the Danube-Tisza. The vicinal line leading from Pécs was opened in 1911. - Bátaszék, Tolna County, Hungary.
