Summary[edit]

Description
English:
Kelenföld railway station, main building street/square side, detail. The two floor, main building built in 1884 planned based on MÁV type design. The station main task was to serve freight traffic. In 1926 built a warehouse for dairy products and a 'fast goods' storage. The wet soil of the neighborhood built in with ten and fifteen storey block prefabricated and cast gravel concrete buildings only in between 1966 and 1983. With the new (inagurated in ~2015-2017) underpass, the rundown, monument-protected station building has completely lost its function. The station building (planned) to remodelling for a branch to the Transport Museum - Etele Square, Kelenföld neighborhood, District XI of Budapest.
