Baliza D-1911, conocida como Cabezo de San Juan, en la Bahía de Bayona. No he encontrado su fecha de construcción en ninguno de los registros oficiales de balizas que hay en la red. La señal está combinada con <a href="http://www.outono.net/elentir/2011/11/27/el-faro-de-playa-america/" rel="noreferrer nofollow">el faro de Playa América</a>, y es visible hacia el oeste desde este arenal (esta foto la hice desde la Playa de Portocelo, en Monteferro, al norte de la señal). La torre es de mampostería, de planta redonda y forma ligeramente cónica. Tiene una pequeña galería, con la abertura hacia el Este. Su plano focal se encuentra a 9 metros sobre el nivel del mar y emite destellos de luz blanca cada 5 segundos, con un alcance nocturno de 10 millas. Está deshabitada y sólo es accesible mediante una embarcación, pero no es visitable. Es operada por la Autoridad Portuaria de Vigo. Está situada en las coordenadas 4º 08 20N+08º 50 10W. <a href="http://maps.google.com/?ll=42.13731,-8.834714&spn=0.001008,0.001393&t=h&om=1&z=20" rel="noreferrer nofollow">Se puede ver aquí en Google Maps.</a> Beacon of Cabezo de San Juan Beacon D-1911, known as Cabezo San Juan, in the Bay of Bayona. I have not found the date of construction in any of the official records of beacons on Internet. The signal is combined with <a href="http://www.outono.net/elentir/2011/11/27/el-faro-de-playa-america/" rel="noreferrer nofollow">América Beach Lighthouse</a>, and is visible to the west from the sand (this photo was taken from the beach of Portocelo in Monteferro, north of the signal). The tower is made of masonry, ground round, slightly conical. It has a small gallery, with the opening towards the East. Its focal plane is 9 meters above sea level and white light flashes every 5 seconds, with a range of 10 miles at night. It is uninhabited and accessible only by boat, but not can be visited. It is operated by the Port Authority of Vigo.
