English: Band (Mexico), 19th century
Description
English: Narrow woven band patterned by stripes: the center and widest stripe is patterned by ikat in red and white. The narrow stripes on each side are orange, red-orange with gold pinstripes on each side and an ikat patterned stripe in blue and white. Each end is turned under and sewn with a narrow salmon tape attached to one end and a strip of green silk to the other.
