Barbed & Tanged arrowhead
Photographer

Title
Barbed & Tanged arrowhead
Description
English: Early Bronze Age flint barbed and tanged arrowhead. The sides are somewhat rounded and the barbs and tang are squared, suggesting the arrowhead to be a Sutton b type (Green 1980). The arrowhead has lost its tip in antiquity, possibly as a result of impact through use. The flint is brown, probably of beech pebble flint and is unpatinated.
