English: Carved plumstone carved plumstone in shape of basket with handle; hung on gold chain, connected to ivory scissors (col.2528); belonged to donor's grandmother Sarah Noedl, nee Gardiner; in 1830, when Sarah Gardiner was a child, she was taken to the Blind school in Worcester and given the plumstone basket and ivory scissors (col.2528) as momentos; they were carved by one of the blind people at the school.
