Description |
English: A curving hedge surrounds a modern accessible water fountain along the sidewalk. Bathhouse Row. As the Bathhouse Row area developed, emphasis was placed on the creation of ornamental fountains where people could drink the spring water of Hot Springs. These range in style, and several of the historic fountains still function. A modern type of accessible drinking fountain was built in front of the Maurice and Hale Bathhouses and uses cold city water. Modern water features are functionally important, but are considered non-contributing.
