Abstract/medium: 1 print : chromolithograph ; 67.4 x 94.8 cm (sheet). Summary: Print shows a roadway, possibly Corinth Road, separating the Union forces under the command of General U.S. Grant, on the right, and the Confederate forces on the left; in a shattered building, in the midst of the fighting, stands a "McCormick Harvester & Twine Binder", untouched by the cannon and musket fire. This advertising print copies a portion of Théophile Poilpot's painted panorama. |
