Deutsch: Darstellung eines Schildbürgerstreiches der sogenannten Beckumer Anschläge, nach dem der Stadtrat eine Sonnenuhr kaufte und der Bürgermeister zu deren Schutz ein Dach darüber bauen ließ. Die Karikatur befindet sich auf der Rückseite eines Geldscheins von 1920. Maße: 64 mm x 96 mm.
English: The so-called Beckumer Anschläge is a collection of funny stories about silly citizens of Beckum, Germany. In this caricature on the reverse of a banknote of 1920, the story of a sundial, bought by the city council is depicted. To protect it, the mayor had a roof built over it. Size: 64 mm x 96 mm.
