Title
Belt mount
Description
English: Non-figurative cast copper alloy mount, probably from a belt or similar and of Late Medieval or Early Post Medieval date. The mount has a slightly domed profile with a trilobed top edge and a single rounded terminal at the bottom. There is a single rounded projection on each side. The face carries a raised, probable floral design consisting of a stem with two leaves (occupying the side projections) and a flower at the apex. There is a single iron attachment rivet at the top of the mount.
