Description
English: Southern facade of the former Generaltelegrafenamt in Berlin-Mitte, Jägerstraße 42-44. It's part of a building complex that housed the first telegraph office in Germany. This is an enlargement of the original building, constructed 1877-78 by architect Carl Schwatlo. All parts of the former Generaltelegrafenamt now belong to the office building of Deutsche Telekom situated between Französische Straße and Jägerstraße.
