Description
Deutsch: Ehemaliges "Fernsprechamt Nord" in der Tucholskystraße in Berlin-Mitte, erbaut 1926 von Felix Gentzen im expressionistischen Stil. Das Gebäude gehörte zumsammen mit dem nahe gelegenen Postfuhramt und dem benachbarten Haupttelegrafenamt zum ausgedehnten Komplex von Gebäuden der Reichspost an der Oranienburger Straße. Das Gebäude ist denkmalgeschützt.
English: The former "Fernsprechamt Nord" (Telephone Office Building North) on Tucholskystraße in Berlin-Mitte, built 1926 by Felix Gentzen in the style of architectural expressionism. Together with the nearby Postfuhramt (Postal Wagon Office) and the neighboring Haupttelegrafenamt (Main Telegraph Building), it constituted a large complex of postal buildings around Oranienburger Straße. The building is landmarked.
