Description
Deutsch: Östlicher Flügel des ehemaligen Universitäts-Klinikums an der Ziegelstraße 5-9 in Berlin-Mitte, hier gesehen von der Straße Am Weidendamm auf der anderen Spreeseite. Der gesamte Gebäudekomplex wurde 1878-1883 nach Entwürfen von Martin Gropius und Heino Schmiden erbaut. Er ist als Baudenkmal gelistet. Außerdem ist er Bestandteil des denkmalgeschützten Ensembles Spandauer Vorstadt.
English: Eastern wing of the former University Clinic at Ziegelstraße No. 5-9 in Berlin-Mitte, here seen from the street Am Weidendamm other side of the Spree. The whole building complex was constructed from 1878 to 1883 to a design by Martin Gropius and Heino Schmieden. It has been designated as a cultural heritage monument. It is also part of the protected historic buildings area Spandauer Vorstadt.
