Deutsch: Besenbinden in der Königshardt
Oberhausen-Sterkrade 1979 – 25 min Aufnahme: Gabriel Simons; Schnitt: Alois Döring, Iris Jakob; Kommentar: Iris Jakob Auf der Königshardt bei Sterkrade entwickelte sich seit dem Aufblühen der Eisenindustrie das Binden von Birkenreisigbesen als eigenständiges Hausgewerbe. Abnehmer sind bis heute Walzwerke und Kokereien im Ruhrgebiet. Zu den Nachfahren von Pfälzer Kolonisten, die Ende des 18. Jahrhunderts am Niederrhein angesiedelt wurden, gehört die Familie Luft. Sie bindet noch Besen in größeren Stückzahlen. Der Film zeigt das Schneiden und Sammeln von Birkenreisig sowie das Binden von Reisig- und Heidekrautbesen auf der so genannten Besenbank, ebenso auch die Verwendung der Reisigbesen in einer Duisburger Kokerei. |
