Blaha Lujza Square Mini-Sculpture Park or 'The memory of the actors of the old National Theatre' Plan. 11 mini reliefs on the seating part of the three so-called 'plant cassettes'/flowerbeds in the square. The small sculptures were numbered to make searching easier, and an information board was created with brief descriptions of the actors and statues. The small works commemorate the famous artists and performances of the People's Theatre (old National Theatre), opened in 1875, and the National Theatre, which operated here between 1908 and 1964. Using period photographs, we can see the actors in their former roles and costumes. At the Western flowerbed: #1 relief: 'Judge Zsófi Török and Hussar Sergeant Pali Csillag'. Lujza Blaha actress and Mihály Kiss actor can be seen in Ferenc Csepreghy's play ~'The Red Pantywaist' from 1878. #2. 'Zsupán' sculpture. József Németh Jr. played the role of the pig trader in Johann Strauss's operetta The Gypsy Baron - at the Central Bed: #3. sculpture 'The Blue Mountain Fairy': Ilka Pálmay actress from Planquette's operetta 'The Fairy of the Blue Mountains'; #4. sculpture 'The World Travellers and the Elephant': the play 'Around the World in Eighty Days', based on the novel by Jules Verne, was performed in 1875; #5. sculpture ' Panna Czinka, the Violin Phenomenon'. In the play '1000 Years', the theatre's prima donna of Roma origin, Aranka Hegyi actress, played Czinka Panna; #6. sculpture entitled 'Cancan dancers'.
