English: "Clipper Mandarin" taxies out for a 27L departure. Del to DL as N9896 26/09/70. RT Boeing 09/74 and LT China AL as N40108 06/76 before taking up reg B-1868 09/76. To PA 05/78 and convtered to -132F 06/86. ST Evergreen Int N481EV 04/91. Was WFU at Marana in early 2009. On 22/07/09 it became the largest plane to ever land on the 5,400 foot runway at the municipal airport in McMinnville, Oregon. The plane is slated to be a part of the exhibit of the Evergreen Aviation Museum. |
