| Description |
These two beasts were parked towards the Eastern end of the main storage area. The 747 was built for Philippine Airlines in 1998 as N756PR but never flew for them. After four months in storage it went to Air New Zealand as ZK-SUJ where it remained until 2011. After cargo conversion it then moved to Southern Air, whose colours it still wears. c/n 27602, l/n 1161. The MD11 was built for Delta as N892DL but only flew for them for three years before becoming PP-SPE with Brazilian airline VASP. After cargo conversion in 2000 it flew with Gemini Air Cargo as N705GC before joining World Airways in 2008. c/n 48412, l/n 454. Pinal Air Park, Marana. Arizona, USA. 09-2-2014 |
