Description
English: Fragment of printed cotton; border design in chinoiserie showing incomplete temples and buildings. An even smaller design of pavilions, bridges, and ships encloses the center on right side. On either side, two small bands, vertical and geometric, help to overcome the difference in scale. The design is carried out on a brown ground in shades of red, blue, green, yellow and white.
