Notes At the height of its production, Talavera pottery was made not only for convents, monasteries and pharmacies but also for the nobility. In domestic wares, the variety of decoration included scenes of hunting and bullfights, dances and theatrical scenes - all distinguished by fine painting with blended glaze colours.
