Description
English: The south end of the long passageway leading to the mezzanine of the Briarwood (formerly Briarwood–Van Wyck) IND subway station, under Queens Boulevard and the Van Wyck Expressway at the south end of Main Street in Briarwood, Queens. The station was renovated in the 2010s as part of the Kew Gardens Interchange Project. The station itself is located under the Van Wyck service road (formerly Van Wyck Boulevard) which would have made a natural progression to the planned extension down the Van Wyck to South Ozone Park which was never built. The exit from this mezzanine leads up to the Van Wyck Service road near Maple Grove Cemetery.
