Title
Bronze Age Barbed & Tanged Arrow Head
Description
English: Bronze age barbed and tanged arrowhead knapped from white stone. One side is slightly convex and has been invasively retouched to form the shape. The other side is relatively flat with small impact ripples running along its length. The flint has been retouched along the edges and to shape the barbs and tang. The arrowehead appears complete, with the barbs knapped to different shapes, one having a squared off end, the other is shaped to a point. The tang is also complete, and has a roughly oval cross section. Thev arrowhead is 32.96mm long, has a maximum width of 22.88mm and is 5.14mm thick.
