Bronze Age barbed and tang arrowhead
Description
English: An incomplete and unpatinated worked flint arrowhead of Bronze Age date. It is of barb and tang form, struck from a brown to grey flint and missing both tangs and its tip due to old breaks. The arrowhead is triangular in form, pointed oval shaped section, with rectangular tang and retouch limited to edges of the arrowhead only. It measures 33.36mm in length, 19.14mm in width, 4.92mm in thickness and 2.55g in weight. This arrowhead is of Early Bronze Age date, c.2550-1600 BC.
