| Description |
The passenger bridge at the university of Bielefeld. This was taken handheld with a digital SLR at 1/13s. To get a sharp shot I take a lot of consecutive pictures, for long shutter times as much as 10 or 15, often until the buffer is full. Then I choose the sharpest ones. This technique is really only feasible with a fast digital camera, in particular DSLR. With film it's usually a waste of frames, and many digital compacts are too slow. Also with a DSLR it's ok to crank up the ISO to 800 to get into the range of reasonable shutter times. |
