Description
English:
András János Nagy Well by Béla Zsigmondy (well drilling master) anf Béla Seenger (stone carver) /1884 works/ Neo-Neorenesans, artesian well with sandstone, octogonal pool. In middle of the pool a pillar with two varied size, iron dishes on the top with vase shaped ornament. Originally there were eight lion head water spouts, but after renovation, in the 1960s, only two, the east and west side left. Donated by Mr. landowner András János Nagy, his name can be read on a metal plaque on the well base. The original well The water from the original well surfaced on a tuba made of pine wood. It has been drying up for more than three decades, and today's water supply is supplied by the city line. Last renovation,-in 1991,-made by sculptor Sándor Návay - Kálvin Square, Hódmezővásárhely, Csongrád-Csanád County, Hungary
