English: Mold Castle; The Bailey Hill, Yr Wyddgrug, Wales. Mold Castle (Welsh: Castell yr Wyddgrug), also known as Bailey Hill in the town of Mold, Flintshire, north-east Wales, is a motte-and-bailey castle erected around 1072 in an attempt by the Normans (aka English) to conquer Wales.
