Description Presidentlal Palace gates - formerly Casa Poporului - now the Palatul Parlamentului . At the time, the huge building . In englis, the Palace of the Parliament<a></a> The structure was built between 1983 and 1989, although internal furnishings were never completed during the Caecescu period. Since 1997, the Chamber of Deputies has been houses here. In 2004, a museum of COntemporary art was opened in one wing of the building and around it a "Park of Totalitarianism and Social Realism"
