Description
Nederlands: Beschrijving Plan van Amsterdam met de buurtverdeeling

Kaart van Amsterdam met de 50 buurten waarin de stad verdeeld was en waaraan in manuscript het gasleidingennet van de stad toegevoegd werd. Getekend door Jacob Kuyper, bijgewerkt door A. Tuyn. Het staat niet vast wie het leidingennet in manuscript aan het kaartbeeld toevoegde. 3e uitgave. Schaal 1:4.675. Als gedrukte versie uitgegeven door Frans Buffa en Zonen. De kaart is op vier plaatsen overplakt (Museumplein tot aan de Zuidergasfabriek, eigendom van C. de Bruyn & Sons Gasworks), de Schans ten noorden van het bolwerk Slotermeer, en de uiterste linkerbenedenhoek van de kaart met de omgeving Jan Hansepad en Molenpad. De vierde overplakking betreft een terrein ten zuidoosten van de Nederlandse Beijerse Bierbrouwerij dat overplakt werd met een geplande, maar nooit gebouwde nieuwe gasfabriek. De oude fabriek van de I.C.G.A. (= Imperial Continental Gas Association) staat op het bolwerk Nieuwkerk. Op de nieuwe lokatie staat bijgeschreven: New Grounds of the I.C.G.A. Deze kaart is in particulier bezit, het Stadsarchief Amsterdam beheert alleen een scan van deze kaart. Orientatie: noordnoordoost boven.
