Ook het afgelopen jaar spitste Schiff zijn oren tijdens masterclasses en audities wereldwijd om drie uitzonderlijke pianisten te selecteren die de kans krijgen om solorecitals te geven in de grote concertzalen van New York, Berlijn, Zürich, Frankfurt én in deSingel! De Roemeen Andrei Gologan bijt de spits af met de debussiaanse Tweede Suite van Enescu. Dan duikt hij in de fantasiewereld van Haydn, Mozart en Beethoven. Tot slot tovert Gologan Robert Schumanns Tweede Sonate uit de vingers. Met de oorspronkelijke, demonische finale, die zelfs Clara Schumann het petje te boven ging. Français : Pour la seconde saison consécutive, nous soutenons le projet « Building Bridges » d'András Schiff, dont l'objectif est d'aider les jeunes pianistes à s'épanouir en concertistes. Au cours de l'année écoulée, Schiff a prêté une oreille attentive pendant des master classes et auditions dans le monde entier, afin de sélectionner trois pianistes exceptionnels qui ont à présent l'occasion de donner des récitals en solo dans les grandes salles de concert de New York, Berlin, Zurich et Francfort, ainsi qu'à deSingel ! Le Roumain Andrei Gologan est le premier à se produire, dans la Suite n° 2 d'Enescu, qui rappelle Debussy. Il se plonge ensuite dans l'univers de Haydn, Mozart et Beethoven. Pour finir, Gologan nous offre la Sonate n° 2 de Robert Schumann au finale démoniaque d'origine, devant lequel même Clara Schumann a dû baisser les bras. Once again over the past year, Schiff has been keeping his ears pricked at masterclasses and auditions all over the world to select these exceptional pianists, who are offered the opportunity to give solo recitals in the big concert halls of New York, Berlin, Zurich and Frankfurt, as well as at deSingel! The Romanian Andrei Gologan is first up with the Debussyesque Second Suite by Enescu. He then dives into the fantasy world of Haydn, Mozart and Beethoven. Finally Gologan conjures up Robert Schumann’s Second Sonata. With the original, demonic finale that even went over Clara Schumann’s head. |
