Dieser Stat.-Komm. marschierte mit seinen Krücken den ganzen Weg bis zur Waffenabgabe vor seinen Leuten. Es ist bezeichnend für den Geist der Mehrzahl der Offiziere. Für den weiten Weg zum Gef. Lager wurde ihnen ein Wehrmachtswagen zur Verfügung gestellt.

English: Warsaw Uprising: Polish units preparing to leave Warsaw after the surrender of the Uprising. Meeting area at the block of Sucha Street (today's Krzywickiego St.), Koszykowa St., aleje Niepodległości, August 6 St. (today's Nowowiejska St.). During formation of the marching column this area was bombed by Russian artillery. Building in the back is at al. Niepodległości 243 - until recent headquarters of Polish Intelligence.
Polski: Powstanie Warszawskie: Polskie jednostki Armii Krajowej wychodzą z Warszawy po kapitulacji Powstania. Punkt zborny w kwadracie ulic Sucha (obecnie Krzywickiego), Koszykowa, al. Niepodległości, 6 sierpnia (obecnie ulica Nowowiejska). Podczas formowanie kolumny marszowej, teren ten został ostrzelany przez artylerie Armii Czerwonej z Pragi. Budynek w tle to al. Niepodległości 243 - do niedawna siedziba Wojskowych Służb Informacyjnych.
