For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Berlin, Friedrichstraße, Neubauten ADN-ZB Oberst 12.1.89-B- Berlin: Eine Straße verändert ihr Gesicht - Die Friedrichstraße, vor wenigen Jahren noch durch zahlreiche Lücken in ihrem Aussehen beeinträchtigt, ist spürbar attraktiever geworden. Gegenüber dem neuen Friedrichstadt-Palast ist ander Ecke zur Clair-Waldoff-Straße ein abwechslungsreich gestaltetes Wohnhaus entstanden, das in seiner Höhe differenziert gestaltet ist und sich so gut in die Umgebung einfügt.
