For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN- Settnik 26.4.90 Berlin: Bauerndemonstration-Mehr als 1.000 Landarbeiter, Forstleute und Vertreter der Verarbeitungsindustrie waen dem Aufruf ihrer Gewerkschaft Land, Nahrungsgüter und Forst zu einer Demonstration vor dem Volkskammer-Gebäude für höhere Löhne, sichere Arbeitsplätze und Mitbestimmung in ihren Betrieben gefolgt. Sie forderten die Regierung auf, rasch Maßnahmen gegen unkontrollierten Import von Nahrungsgütern und sozialen Abbau zu beschließen.
