For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN- Grimm 8.6.90 Berlin: Mahnwache- Der Rektor der Humboldt-Universität Berlin, der Theologe Prof. Dr. Heinrich Fink (r), versicherte den Studenten bei ihrer Mahnwache vor dem Berliner Dom seine Unterstützung und forderte sie auf, die Sicherheitspartnerschaft mit der Polizei einzuhalten. Durch weiträumige Absperrungen vor der Volkskammer durch ein starkes Polizeiaufgebot war eine gespannte Situation entstanden.
