Zentralbild-Nitzschke Pa-Ho. 8.12.1956 Grosser Erfolg des Leipziger Gewandhausorchesters in Moskau (UdSSR) Das Leipziger Gewandhausorchester unter Leitung von Nationalpreisträger Professor Franz Konwitschny gibt zur Zeit ein Gastspiel in Moskau und Leningrad. Allein in Moskau finden acht Konzerte statt, darunter auch mit den sowjetischen Geigern David und Igor Oistrach. UBz: Am 4.1.1956 gab das Leipziger Gewandhausorchester sein 6. Konzert im Großen Saal des Moskauer Tschaikowski-Konservatoriums, das durch das Doppelkonzert von Bach, dargeboten von David und Igor Oistrach zu einem Ereignis von besonderer Bedeutung wurde.
