For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Koard 22.3.67 Berlins "Kleiner Bruder" wird montiert. Die Montage der ersten Teile für den Ersatzschaft, den "kleinen Bruder" des 208 Meter hohen Berliner Fernsehturm geht flott voran. Zu Füßen des Riesen auf einem Platz vor dem Rathaus entsteht er als 35 Meter hohes Skelett, an dem die Turmkugel vormontiert wird. Ende März soll der Ersatzschaft fertig sein, so daß dann Anfang April die Vormontage der Stahlkugel beginnen kann. UBZ. Mitglieder der Brigade Bittner vom VEB Industriemontage Leipzig bei der Montage.
