For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Englische Frachter Zentralbild Sindermann 1.10.1968 Rostock: Schiffs-Liniendienst nach England ab Rostock Der England-Liniendienst der Deutschen Seereederei, der seit 1961 vom Wismarer Hafen aus erfolgte, wird ab 1. Oktober 1968 im Rostocker Überseehafen abgewickelt. Die Frachten sind zu etwa 50 Prozent Transitgut. Als erste Ladung nahm MS "Capella" 70 Wartburgs und MS "Denebola" Zwiebeln aus Ungarn an Bord.
