Im Gebäude der DWK (Deutsche Wirtschaftskommission) in der Leipziger Straße in Berlin fand am 7.10.1949 eine Sitzung statt, auf deren Tagesordnung ein Manifest der Nationalen Front des demokratischen Deutschland die Stellungsnahme zur politischen Lage und Beratung der zu ergreifenden Maßnahmen standen.

UBz: einen Überblick über die 9. Sitzung des Volksrates, der sich unter Vorsitz von Wilhelm Pieck zur Provisorischen Volkskammer umbildet.
