Description
English: A circular tombac button of the 18th century. It carries a shallowly inscribed design of a rose of five petals. The suspension loop is missing. A very close parallel may be found in Bailey, Buttons and Fasteners 500BC-AD1840, p. 49, Fig. 9.60. The button is 18.4mm in diameter and 2.4mm thick. It weighs 2.58gm.
