Deutsch: Die historische Mündung der Panke liegt 90 Meter unterhalb der Friedrichstraße in Berlin-Mitte, gegenüber dem Bahnhof Friedrichstraße. Da dieser historische Pankelauf aber 1961 mit dem Mauerbau abgetrennt wurde und die geplante Wiedereinrichtung als Stadt- oder Südpanke noch nicht erfolgt ist, da die Bauarbeiten in diesem Gebiet noch bis mindestens 2013 laufen, hat das Mündungsloch der Panke kein reguläres Pankewasser. Zudem ist die Mündung durch eine Stahlspundwand versteckt. Diese Wand soll das sanierungsbedürftige Ufer vor dem Wellenschlag der Schiffe bewahren. |
