English: Mr. William P. Thompson, Combined Force Space Component Command (CFSCC) deputy chief of staff, leads a CFSCC mission brief to Foreign Air Attachés at the Pacific Coast Club on Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., May 3, 2023. Hosted by CFSCC, the group was part of a Secretary of the Air Force International Affairs (SAF/IA)-sponsored tour for D.C.-based Foreign Air Attachés from 15 different countries. Led by U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Julian C. Cheater, Assistant Deputy Under SAF/IA, this DoD-level program aims to orient Attachés to DoD organizations and provide strategic messaging to senior foreign leaders, and is executed on behalf of the USAF Chief of Staff Gen.
