Object history
Deutsch: Beim Gemeindewappen von Disentis handelt es sich um das Wappen des Klosters Disentis mit veränderten Farben. Das Wappen wurde von der Gemeinde 1939 anlässlich der Landesausstellung benützt, in ähnlicher Weise wie andere Gemeinden im Bereiche bedeutender Klöster deren Wappen in abgeänderter Tinktur übernommen haben. Das Gemeindewappen versinnbildlicht die jahrhundertealte Kultur und die Bedeutung des Klosters für die Landschaft von Disentis.
