English: An unclipped or lightly clipped silver Roman siliqua of Gratian (AD 367-383), dating to the period c.AD 374-377 (Reece period 19). VRBS ROMA reverse type depicting Roma seated left on throne, holding sceptre and Victory on a globe. Mint of Trier. Cf. Hoxne no. 285. Some damage has occured to the edge of the coin probably due to plough movement. |
