A medieval silver shortcross penny of either John (1199 - 1216) or Henry III (1216 - 1272), dating to AD 1215 - 1216. Uncertain moneyer, mint of Bury St Edmunds.

Bearded, crowned bust holding sceptre.
Reverse voided short cross with crosslets in each quarter.
