Description
English: Pair of porcelain elephants mounted as candlesticks (parts a and c) with covers (parts b and d). Standing Elephants with dark gray raised trunks, white tusks; skin painted with short gray lines, denser on backs. Each elephant on a scrolled gilt bronze base with attached urn-shaped, handled nozzle on a fringed cushion resting on animal's back. Each circular cover, with finial of curling leaves and tendrils, fits snuggly into nozzle.
