A Capela da Misericórdia do Louriçal encontra-se classificada como Imóvel de Interesse Público. Tal como é possível observar em placa informativa colocada no exterior deste edifício, a “Capela da Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Louriçal. Fundada nos finais do século XVI. No seu interior destaca-se um retábulo maneirista do 1.º quartel do século XVII, do pintor Álvaro Nogueira de Penacova (…). No exterior apresenta frontaria com empena angular rematada por uma cruz rosada de 3 óculos. Sobre a porta de cantaria assentam as armas de Portugal. Nas traseiras ergue-se a torre sineira, em alvenaria, rematada por dois pináculos.
