Description Arquitectura religiosa, maneirista, popular, vernácula. Pequena capela rural, com nave abobadada e capela-mor cupulada que segue a tipologia mais comum no Baixo Alentejo na centúria de Quinhentos, para as ermidas rurais e que se caracteriza pela austeridade formal e robustez construtiva. O nártex, outrora coberto, constitui uma reminiscência da tradição construtiva de Quatrocentos. A cobertura em domo é um elemento próprio da época maneirista, ainda que o esquema geral da ermida enfileire claramente numa sintaxe de carácter popular / vernáculo.
