Description
Español: Carlos Gardel niño, Montevideo. Con sus compañeros de primer Grado "C". Escuela de Segundo Grado de Varones No 27, Calle Durazno 337(numeración antigua), Montevideo, Barrio Palermo. En el mismo predio donde funcionaba la escuelita de Carlos Gardel, demolida en 1947, funciona actualmente el Colegio Zhitlovsky, calle Durazno 1476 (numeración actual), Montevideo, Uruguay.

El legislativo montevideano facultó a la Intendencia a colocar una placa recordatoria en homenaje a Carlos Gardel en el predio de la calle Durazno y Martínez Trueba, donde se ubica la Asociación Cultural Israelita Jaime Zhitlovsky. En la mencionada asociación se encontraba la Escuela Urbana de Varones de Segundo Grado Nº 27, centro de estudios al cual concurrió Carlos Gardel.
