English: Shows landowners along the shore of Lake Champlain. Pen and ink and colored ink. Similar to map created by Gaspard-Joseph Chaussegros de Léry in 1732. Oriented with north to the right. At top of title cartouche: J R. Includes inset of Fort Chambly with ill. and inset of Fort St. Fréderic with ill. Mounted on paper, mounted on cloth. Minor staining throughout. Several pinholes in cloth tape edging. Available also through the Library of Congress Web site as a raster image. |
