Description iconographique:

La pendule indique les heures, les âges de la lune (équation du temps plus index) en plus d'etre dotée d'un baromètre. Deux dragons posés sur le gable des pieds encadrent la signature de Beaumarchais ("CARON A PARIS"), tandis que l'ensemble est couronné d'une figure de magot chinois coiffé d'une feuille de gingko.
