Title
Cast copper alloy Post-Medieval crotal bell
Description
English: Cast copper alloy Post-Medieval spherical bell. It is complete with the rumbler still inside. It has an uneven square attachment loop at the top. The raised median ridge separates the two halves. There are two circular sound holes on the upper half. The lower half has two circular sound holes connected by a linear perforation. There is a crack in the lower half. The lower half is decorated with a simplistic version of the usual sun-burst pattern and has the letters FH inscribed. These letters will refer to the bell maker.
